Chris Hadfield’s “Space Oddity” –with Puppets

Mario and Fafa of Glove & Boots, the famous online puppet troupe, recently decided to add a bit of their own, um, ‘flavor’ to Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield‘s moving cover of “Space Oddity,” the famous David Bowie song about Major Tom, a traveler who gets lost in outer space.

Anyhoo, these two puppet pals decide to take a sad, serious, heartfelt rendition of what’s already a sad, serious, heartfelt song — one that’s made even more so by being performed in actual outer space — and they do what with it, exactly? That’s right, they make it FUN. Take it away, boys!
