Cincinnati bus gets yarn bombed

Promoting a kinder, gentler form of graffiti, a Cincinnati-based group known as the Bombshells recently covered an entire city bus in yarn. Past targets have included trees, parking meters, statues and facades. These stealthy yet harmless attacks, called yarn bombs, bring fun, cheerful pops of color to unexpected places. Very cute!

Made up of a loosely knit group of artists (HA! SEE WHAT I DID THERE?), the Bombshell collective is governed by just two rules: “The first rule about Bombshells is don’t talk about Bombshells. The second rule about Bombshells is don’t talk about Bombshells.” Nice.
